Squirrels in the pixelstudio @thehouseofstud

The Squirrel-friends are my personal gift to the city. Each one hand drawn and painted, sharing a common code of conduct for the purpose of peaceful cohabitation.

The squirrels are carefully placed on boarded up bars and restaurants. These closed venues of human interaction are reinvented as bulletin boards, a way to connect and communicate with the city at a time when physical distance has kept us squirreled away and feeling isolated.

My goal is that the squirrel-friends help to remind us to keep those at risk safe, bring us a wink of joy, and vocalize the hope for the values we share as a city.
